$800 Million State Record Goes To Sugar Land
September 10, 2024 - The city of Sugar Land, in the south east of Texas, was the scene of the state's biggest lottery win in September 2024. The Mega Millions jackpot had climbed into the all-time top ten after a run of 27 consecutive rollovers, and millions of tickets were bought across the U.S.
Only one of those tickets, purchased at Murphy USA 8848 in Sugar Land, proved to be an exact match for all the winning numbers. The cash option of the jackpot was $404.2 million.
$95 Million Lotto Texas Win for Colleyville Player
April 22, 2023 - A seven-month streak without a winner saw the Lotto Texas jackpot rise from $5 million to $95 million between September 2022 and April 2023. Another drawing would have pushed it past $100 million, but someone was finally able to match all the numbers.
The winning ticket was purchased at Lottery Now on 5200 Colleyville Boulevard #500, Colleyville 76034. The cash value of the jackpot was $57.5 million.
Buffalo Player Hits $2 Million Powerball Prize
November 8, 2021 - An anonymous Buffalo ticket-holder has collected $2 million after winning a Match 5 Powerball second prize that included the Power Play add-on. The Quick Pick ticket matched the five white balls (5-23-28-43-56), only missing the red Powerball (19) in the October 30 drawing. The Power Play multiplier was 2, which doubled the ticket's value to $2 million.
The lucky ticket was purchased from the Colmesneil Jiffy Market at 102 North Wheeler Ave. in Colmesneil.
$18.75 Million Lotto Texas Jackpot Claimed
November 3, 2021 - The winner of the Lotto TX jackpot in the June 2 draw has claimed their prize anonymously. Onomea LLC of Plano selected the cash payout option, meaning the lucky winner received $14,259,275.66 before taxes. The ticket not only scored the jackpot, but also won an extra $3 on a different board.
The ticket hit all the numbers drawn (22-33-44-45-47-54) and was sold by Xpress Food & Fuel at 800 E. Parker Road in Plano.
$3 Million Scratch Ticket Win Claimed in Crowley
October 25, 2021 - A Crowley player stepped forward to collect one of the grand prizes from the 500X Loteria Spectacular scratch game. The winning ticket was sold by Wal-Mart Fuel Center #245, at 1301 E. FM 1187 in Crowley. The winner, who chose to stay anonymous, hit the third of the game's four top prizes.
Fort Worth Player Scores $2 Million Mega Millions Win
October 14, 2021 - An anonymous Fort Worth resident claimed a $2 million Mega Millions second prize won in the September 3 draw. The lucky Quick Pick ticket with the Megaplier option was purchased at Albertsons #4124, located at 7400 Oakmont Blvd. in Fort Worth.
The ticket matched the five white ball numbers (7-10-12-61-65), but missed out on the gold Mega Ball number (3). The Megaplier number was 2, doubling the win's value to $2 million.
$20.75 Million Lotto Texas Win Claimed by Houston Player
October 11, 2021 - A Houston resident became a multimillionaire when they claimed the Lotto Texas jackpot won on October 2. The anonymous player chose the cash option and will enjoy a $16,185,915.40 payout before taxes.
The lucky ticket hit all six numbers drawn (1-9-14-23-29-41) and was bought at BFM Food Mart at 5825 Bellaire Blvd. in Houston.
Lubbock Ticket-Holder Collects $3 Million Mega Millions Prize
September 8, 2021 - A Lubbock player is $3 milion better off after claiming a Mega Millions Match 5 prize won on August 27. The second-tier prize is normally $1 million, but since the player added the Megaplier option for an extra $1, the prize value tripled to $3 million after the Megaplier number 3 was drawn.
The Quick Pick ticket was sold by Stripes No. 2253, located at 2412 98th St. in Lubbock. It hit all five of the white ball numbers (1-10-44-47-56), but missed out on the Mega Ball (23).

August 23, 2021 - A San Antonio resident scratched their way to a $3 million payday on the 500X Loteria Spectacular game, winning the second of the game's four grand prizes. The ticket was purchased at Jany Corner Store, located at 1871 Bandera Road in San Antonio.
Final "$5 Million Fortune" Top Prize Claimed
Claimed August 16, 2021 - The last of the four top prizes for the scratch ticket game "$5 Million Fortune" has been claimed by an anonymous Austin resident. The winning ticket was purchased at EZ Stop #2, located at 1200 Kramer Lane in Austin. As there are now zero top prizes remaining for "$5 Millon Fortune", this game will close and be removed from sale.

Claimed July 8, 2021 - A Mesquite resident has claimed the third top prize for the scratch game "$5 Million Fortune". The winning ticket, worth $5 million, was sold at Kroger 509, 4901 Maple Avenue in Dallas. The claimant decided to remain anonymous. Claimed May 17, 2021 - A Baytown player claimed the Lotto Texas jackpot they scored in the February 10 draw after matching all the winning numbers: 26, 27, 34, 37, 48, 53. The Quick Pick ticket was bought from Rush 3 at 5495 FM 3180 Road, Baytown. The anonymous winner opted for the lump sum payout and will receive $4,972,487.61, minus taxes.

Claimed December 9, 2020 - It could be the best holiday season ever for one lucky El Paso resident, who's wasted no time in claiming the Lotto Texas top prize they won on November 28 after matching all six numbers drawn: 9, 13, 17, 20, 26 and 28. The ticket was sold at 7-Eleven #606, located at 1733 Brown St.
The Lotto Texas jackpot had been rolling since it was last won on September 30, when an anonymous Seguin resident won the $47 million top prize, which they took as a cash option of $39,767,339.23.

Won November 20, 2020 - A Katy resident, who chose to stay anonymous, has come forward to claim a $1 million top prize won on the Mad Money Multiplier scratch game. The lucky ticket was sold by Sal's Mart, at 19550 Clay Road in Katy.
The big win was the first of the Mad Money Multiplier's 10 $1 million top prizes to be hit. The game features a total of $100 million in cash prizes, with overall odds of winning of 1 in 2.98.

Four Players Win Big On Same Night
Won October 8, 2020 - This month has produced an "October surprise" - but not the political kind. October 8 was a lucky night for four Texans as top prizes for All or Nothing, Cash Five, plus the Texas Two Step jackpot were all hit, delivering total winnings of $1.55 million.
"The first time it happened, ironically, was on October 8, 2012, so this date appears to be a lucky one for our players. We would like to congratulate this group of winners and we look forward to meeting each one of them when they claim their prize," said Gary Grief, the Texas Lottery's executive director.
Two winners will share the $1.275 million Texas Two Step top prize after they both matched all the numbers drawn. One of the lucky tickets was sold in Cedar Park and the second in Kerrville.
The winning All or Nothing Night ticket was purchased in Grapevine, and is worth $250,000.
A Houston player also won a $25,000 prize on Cash Five.
Prior to this, the most recent date all three games were won on the same day was also in October! A $225,000 ticket was purchased in Richardson, a $250,00 All or Nothing ticket was sold in Seguin and a $16,706 Cash Five ticket was bought in Corpus Christi for the draws on October 16, 2014.
$47 Million Lotto Texas Jackpot Won
Won September 30, 2020 - A truly Texas-sized prize, the $47 million Lotto jackpot was won for the first time in eight months by a ticket sold at Pic N Pac 10 at 109 Highway 123 N. Bypass in Seguin, Guadalupe County. The winner has not yet come forward to claim - under state law, they will be able to remain anonymous if they wish.
The incredible jackpot began at $5 million on January 18 and went through a record 73 rollovers. It was the game's largest prize since $97 million was won in Dallas in May 2010.
The lucky winner, a Seguin resident who chose to stay anonymous, claimed the prize in October and took the $39,767,339.23 cash option they selected at the time of purchase.

Won September 1, 2020 - A Dallas resident collected a $1 million Match 5 Mega Millions win. The ticket was sold at Kwik Way Grocery, 12405 Jupiter Road in Dallas. The lucky winner decided to keep their identity private.
